I want to paint some glass ornaments using acrylic paint. What can I use as a primer to get the paint to adher?

I can’t imagine why you’d want to do that, but Zinsser primers are in my opinion the best. Most if not all in their range will stick to hard to adhere to surfaces.

I’d recommend either the Bulls Eye 123, or the B-I-N.

First make sure the surface is thoroughly clean.

Where can you buy Christmas ornaments similar to those you find at Hobby Lobby?

You really don’t need a primer. They will get no usage. Over time, though, the paint will chip. Why not use paint for glass?
