I have a white pre-lite tree with multi color lights, what color ornaments would go good with that?
Or does it matter?
If the tree has multicolored lights you can choose any color ornaments you want.
Although a single color of glass ornaments may look nice, it may seem a little cold and boring. Holidays are about warmth…
You may want to select smaller ceramic or wooden designs that will add to the overall look of the tree and holiday decorations.
Or you could place multicolored glass ornaments near the lights of the same color, it may make the glass glow brighter. I don’t really like this look but you won’t know until you try.
However, if you want a single color, find something that compliments the overall decor of your home (or at least the room that houses the tree).

Blue ornaments.

Blue, red, and green would go good with a white tree. Those are the best three to put on, but any color that is bright and shiny would go well, since it would create a pleasant contrast with the white color of the tree.

Anything you like white is a netural color. They decorate beautifully.

It does not matter. With a white tree you can put anything. The white helps bring out the color of every ornament you put on it.

if its multi colored lights -you want colored ornaments – I’d do bright colors like the lights and silver and gold. red green blue and yellow- it would look weird if you picked a color scheme with multi colored lights- if they were plain white- id suggest black and gold
or blue and silver or red and white

White goes with anything, except white ornaments might be a bit too much (depends, though).
You can be matchy-matchy with the light colors, if you like. But personally, I think you should add ornaments that mean something to you. Are you just starting your ornament collection? Or is this for a store display or something?
As for me, if I had a white tree, I’d change all the lightbulbs to blue, and use gold tinsel. But, everyone has their own preferences.

well, since they are multi colored lights, you could really pick any color combo. Maybe green, red, blue and silver. bring out the colors from the lights but don’t overwhelm the tree so much that you don’t know what to look at first. also find icicle ornaments and snow flakes! they might not show up quite as much with your tree being white but they are great fillers! and maybe some silver beads that drape along the rows. it gives it something extra

Ok, I’m actually one who loves a "themed" tree! : ) I LOVE LOVE LOVE red bows on trees! These would look great on your white tree…course, that may be too girlie?
I like the person’s idea that said black and silver, that would be ‘manly’.
